- Updates of CIGR Section II official delegates
- The minutes of the meeting will be sent to all participants. Please don’t hesitate to let the secretary know if you have any remarks
- Suggestions for new delegates are welcome if there is no representative for this country: within a country candidates have to agree with their colleagues
- Victoria Blanes Vidal is asked to represent Spain
- CIGR website
- Only official delegates are mentioned on the website;
- Suggestions for improving the website are welcome
- Conferences
- CIGR Section II and the EurAgEng working group of Air Emission should better cooperate

- Animal Housing in Hot Climate
- Panos Panagakis gave a presentation about the actual status of the “Glossary of Definitions” working group and past actions
- A glossary of definitions on related terms has been worked out and will be finalised including the terms that are still missing
- planned steps are to put the glossary on the website and on Wikipedia and to produce a leaflet
- Funding has to be found for the leaflet
- Critics were given to publish the glossary in Wikipedia, such as:
- Notes in Wikipedia can be changed by everybody (Daniel Herd)
- Does Wikipedia really make sense? (Victoria Blanes-Vidal)
- Jan Harms suggested to translate the glossary into different languages and to bring it down to national organisations (such as VDI?)
- Agreement was on following decisions:
- It was agreed to bring the glossary onto the website of CIGR
- Daniel Berckmans and Panos Panagakis will propose at the meeting in Brazil to make leaflets to make the glossary well known
- Relation between PLF/Aquaculture and Section II (Question: Ilan Halachmi)
- Section II provides information about what is going on in EU PLF
- Application of PLF, e.g. Aquaculture as special sessions within PLF conferences
- Ilan Halachmi will organise a session on “Aquaculture Engineering” with more or less around six speakers
- Upcoming conferences (supported by CIGR)

- Proposals for future actions:
- A measuring protocol could be worked out by the existing network, such as the network for the “Hot climate glossary” (H. Takai)
- It was agreed that a session on measuring techniques will be planned on this topic in connection with the CIGR conference in Quebec 2010:
- H. Takai will take the lead in making the session
- Homework should be done before
