6th International ATW-Symposium "Plant Protection for Wine and Fruit Cultivation"

The Symposium, which is co-sponsored by CIGR and which will be one of the supporting acts during INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA 2001, will take place from 15-16 May, 2001. The development of new application techniques in fruit and wine cultivation on the one hand and a world-wide growing interest in environmental protection on the other are the reasons why the German Committee for Winegrowing Technique (ATW) wishes to rediscuss and review the results of the Symposium on plant protection of 1989. Since aspects and methods of plant protection for winegrowing and fruit cultivation are very similar, the 6th ATW_Symposium aims at bringing into focus both sectors.

For further information please contact:

Chairman of the ATW-Symposium: Prof. Dr. Werner Rühling, FG Technique of FA Geisenheim, D-65366 Geisenheim; +49(0)6722/502-361; Fax: +49(0)6722/502-360; email: technik@geisenheim.fa.fh-wiesbaden.de
