10th European Conference and Technology Exhibition on Biomass for Energy and Industry

This event which is organised by CARMEN, the Central Agrarian Raw Material Marketing and Development Network, WIP Munich and ETA Florence, will be held in the Congress Centre Würzburg, Würzburg, Germany on 8-11 June 1998.

It is supported by the European Commission, the Free State of Bavaria and the European Biomass and Bioenergy Organisations.

The four-day programme will comprise: *Plenary lectures describing the state-of-the-art in biomass technology *Oral and poster presentations of specific research, development and demonstration projects *Exhibition of biomass products, biomass utilisation and conversion *Scientific tours and a social programme.

7th International Congress of Plant Pathology

This Congress will be held in Edinburgh, Scotland on 9 - 16 August 1998.
